The Story of Sarga: a scrollable nature story for kids

It’s no secret that I adore making scrollytelling sites … so this was such a brilliant project to work on … a scrollable story all about the American eel for Canadian Ocean Week.

I was commissioned by CarolAnne Black to create an experience which would allow young people to engage with the story, and find out more about this wonderful animal, working alongside the brilliant illustrator Amberlea Williams.

Using Vev, I created a part-animation, part interactive experience, with vertical and horizontal scroll, keeping young minds engaged.

Plus our hero Sarga, stays centre stage the whole way!
